The Old Lady’s Town

The last morning in Fox Town, a cheeky bird wanted to have some coffee with us but it didn't realize that the water was not even warm. Maybe it was just jealous.

How to eat this box??? Damn, it’s useless human’s plastic as everywhere here, in the forest, the parks… What’s in there? Shit, I can’t open it, but it might break on the ground!

Yeah, got it! But what’s in there? Nothing? Nothing!
I took that risk for nothing? Stupid people!

11-17 May 2012 - Queen(Mum)stown

The city, known for its action sport activities, has everything you could ever think about. Bungee Jumping, Valley Swing, Jet Boat, Rafting, Skydiving, … but I didn’t do anything of that. “Too expensive for what I get”, I thought, but decided to stay some nights in Queenstown, though. Actually, we wanted to sell our van in Queenstown but as the season its over it lasts a bit longer than in high season. We will see when (and if) my travel mate is able to sell the van. If not, it wouldn’t have been more expensive than travelling by bus and sleeping in hostels but much better. Nevertheless, QT is a nice city located at a small lake and surrounded by snow covered mountains. Sounds touristic? It is! Therefore, we decided to take a cruise tour to Milford Sounds and it was definitively a brilliant decision. Milford Sounds is probably the most beautiful landscape I’ve seen in NZ so far.

Next stop Christchurch…

PS: If the laundry didn’t dry…

To wash our clothes we went to a hostel but as the dryer didn’t completely dry our laundry, we had to put it in our van for some days.
